photo birth announcement for ava kate

Introducing Ava Kate! So sweet. For Ava's design, I had to consider the shape of the announcement ordered (square), as well as the closer cropping on the original photo.

I wanted a sweet design for Ava, something feminine with a bit of pink. This is the final design, ultimately printed on thick coverstock. Ava's mom was very happy with her announcements and wrote this after receiving them:

"Absolutely beautiful work, Lisa! I never thought a birth announcement could be so lovely. They are well worth [the price] considering they are a once in a lifetime purchase. Thank you for the personal communication and a great job capturing the moment."

the wow factor

I'm all about the wow factor. I work on every photo as if it were my own; I make sure each and every image looks as if it could have been taken by a professional, even if it wasn't. So you say "wow"!
In this photo, my customer loved the image of her baby, but didn't care for the laundry basket and humidifier in the background. So I blurred the background, giving it a professional look. I could have removed the background from this image altogether, but my customer preferred a more "natural" looking environment. I also touched up the image, removing diaper lines, redness and and shadows. Isn't this baby too cute?!
When you order a custom photo announcement from Chouette Design, you receive this same professional photo enhancement service. This is just one more thing that sets us apart. We hope to work with you soon!

adoption announcement

Here is little Ava Wu's adoption announcement! Isn't she precious. The picture, taken in China, reminded me of a friends referral image. Their baby, Hannah (now 3, wow!), looked just like a little marshmallow, wearing a padded winter suit. Too cute! These referral images are so amazing to me. I can imagine what it is like waiting...and waiting...and then finally one day being able to see the first image of your daughter or son. What an absolute thrill. It was powerful seeing that first photo of Hannah, knowing what it meant to my friend. All the waiting was coming to an end.
For Ava, we incorporated some Chinese characters into the design. Think about how we can add these types of details to your own one-of-a-kind adoption design to make it even more unique and meaningful for you. We love special requests!
